Laptop with windows 7  32-bit bootup problems
I have an ASUS laptop running windows 7 with 32-bit system afew days a go i couldnt boot it up. it starts till the windows logo and when its supposed to display the log in screen it goes black but in the background you can here it continuing with the boot process and it loads the log on page since i have one account on it when i press enter it continues to open the computer however i can only here the sounds but nothing displaying on the screen. I can log into safe mode which i have tried to use . I run system restore which recovered the computer and i was able to log in so started by carrying out maintenence disk cleen and virus scan to try and work out what was happening unfortunatly during one of the run computer restart was required whick accepted and since then I havent been able to log in again. I have run last known good configuration system restore even tried recovery using a norton product since i had never created a system restore CD i am at loss the one i have is for a php computer running on a 64-bit system so i cant use it for this laptop. I have tried everything but nothing is working even picked sugetions from various forums where people had a similar problem but nothing is working I checked the COM battery and its fine I am stack and need help Since i can see the windows logo and can also log on into the safe mode i am thinking its something small but i have run out of ideas Please some one help

Hi, As you mentioned that the issue didnt appear in safe mode, I suppose a non-Microsoft program might be the cause of the issue. A clean boot helps in eliminating software conflicts. Visit the link below to know how to perform a clean boot to get rid of the conflicting program.
